v0
Is v0 secure?
v0 is not a security product, and it is not automatically unsafe. v0 generates UI you then deploy, often on Vercel. The scan starts at the deployed URL. It sees the shipped page, not the v0 chat that produced the components.
A component that was generated but never deployed is not part of the check.
A useful check is the deployed URL
Paste a URL you own. The scan is passive. It does not log in, brute-force paths, or query a database. Supabase Row Level Security and Firebase security rules are not read. Those stay marked as coming soon.
- v0: Exposed API keys

- v0: Open CORS
- v0: Exposed .env files
- v0: Auth misconfiguration
- v0: Cookie flags
- v0: Clickjacking protection
- v0: Exposed git metadata
- v0: Missing robots.txt
Is v0 secure?
v0 is a way to build an app. The security question is about the URL you publish. v0 generates UI you then deploy, often on Vercel. The scan starts at the deployed URL. It sees the shipped page, not the v0 chat that produced the components.
What does a free scan cover?
The public page, up to 10 same-origin scripts, headers, cookies, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, homepage links, and five paths: /.env, /.env.local, /.env.production, /.git/HEAD, and /.git/config.
What will a scan of a v0 URL miss?
A component that was generated but never deployed is not part of the check.
Scan a URL you own
The same free check as the homepage. You confirm the app is yours before it runs.
