Lovable
Is Lovable secure?
Lovable is not a security product, and it is not automatically unsafe. Lovable turns a chat into a hosted app. The preview URL and the production URL both serve HTML and JavaScript to anyone who opens them. Variables that the framework marks as public, and secrets pasted into a client component, travel with that bundle.
A scan of a Lovable URL does not open the Lovable project, the chat history, or env vars that stayed on the server. If the browser never downloaded it, this check will not see it.
A useful check is the deployed URL
Paste a URL you own. The scan is passive. It does not log in, brute-force paths, or query a database. Supabase Row Level Security and Firebase security rules are not read. Those stay marked as coming soon.
- Lovable: Exposed API keys
- Lovable: Supabase RLS
- Lovable: Firebase security rules
- Lovable: Missing security headers
- Lovable: Open CORS
- Lovable: Exposed .env files
- Lovable: Auth misconfiguration

- Lovable: Exposed git metadata
- Lovable: Missing robots.txt
Is Lovable secure?
Lovable is a way to build an app. The security question is about the URL you publish. Lovable turns a chat into a hosted app. The preview URL and the production URL both serve HTML and JavaScript to anyone who opens them. Variables that the framework marks as public, and secrets pasted into a client component, travel with that bundle.
What does a free scan cover?
The public page, up to 10 same-origin scripts, headers, cookies, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, homepage links, and five paths: /.env, /.env.local, /.env.production, /.git/HEAD, and /.git/config.
What will a scan of a Lovable URL miss?
A scan of a Lovable URL does not open the Lovable project, the chat history, or env vars that stayed on the server. If the browser never downloaded it, this check will not see it.
Scan a URL you own
The same free check as the homepage. You confirm the app is yours before it runs.
